  1. Good luck Rob. I’m on the outside ( 905 ) looking in. And from what I can see, if elected you have one heck of a social communist mess to clean up. Miller has financially raped ( only because the socialcoms voted him in ) the the tax payers of Toronto. Remember Miller holding the broom in the air after being elected as Mayor, socialspewing how he was going to politically clean up Toronto. Well Rob, when you get elected as Mayor, your going to need a fleet of street sweepers to clean up the philthy disgusting socialist communist mess Miller has left behind. Toronto is the socialist disgrace to Canada. Good Luck Rob.

  2. Anthony says:

Hi Rob… you look remarkably similar to Mike Holmes (family member)… you might think about chatting with him…to join your campaign..
What a symbol … Mike Holmes helping Rob Ford rebuild Toronto..
Holmes on Homes Ford on Cities..

I can’t vote for you …905′r but you got my support . Wake up call ot the
entitled public servants ..who forgot why they are there…

    Good Luck !!!
    Regards
    Anthony

  3. Bob says:

Hey Rob, I’ve got two dozen street sweepers leased and lined up ready to go. I also have an option ( at a good price ) for one more dozen just in case. The only thing we need now is a large enough landfill sight to dump the toxic waste.

Anyway good luck Rob, your doing a great job campaining so keep it up.

    We need change……………….. Bob

  4. Bob says:

    Hi Rob

Very close to closing a deal with foreign country willing to accept political toxic waste out of Toronto. One problem is, they can not accept 99% of city politicians
……….to left, to toxic……….. Man, this is one mess to deal with

Anyway Rob, even from the outside looking in, we are very concerned..

We wish you the best……………… Bob and lotsof friends.

  5. Rupprecht says:

Rob Ford will NOT get my vote. Apart from wanting city council to account for their office expenses, what does this clown Rob Ford stand for? What vision does he offer? Apart from saving money by contracting out, he offers no viable vision for transit, dealing with urban poverty or decaying infrastructure.

Knee-jerk neoconservatism will get the city only so far, and in four years’ time this city will be in worse shape than now, because this guy can’t see past expense accounts and provide real answers to our city’s problems. Ford is pandering to those who want a simple answer to our complex set of municipal problems.

Finally, Lou Schizas and the other right-wing proponents on AM 640 easily dump on David Miller (justifiedly so, on many accounts), but to simply shrug and chalk it all up to “left-leaning,” “commie” or “pinko” policies betrays a lack of intellect and critical thinking on those who espouse such sentiments. Frankly, I’m surprised that Lou Schizas is so easily duped.

  6. Lynn says:

    Hi Lou
Thanks for having an open web site for free speech.
I will vote for Rob Ford because he does believe in a very strong social structure, through the delivery system of Conservatism, while refusing the old Progressive Liberal Conservative delivery system.

He understands the differance between very strong socialism and a very strong social structure. Two differant things. A strong socialist system takes from society while a very strong social structure keeps society strong and healthy.

  7. Lynn says:

    Hi Rob
I could say bad news, but I really think this is good news. Foreign countries are through taking our waist. It’s our garbage, we must deal with it. Old days gone, news days here. Insinaration power plants are the way to go. NO MORE OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND GREEN THINKING……LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND FACE REALITY…..IT”S OUR GARBAGE…IT”S OUR ENERGY….IT”S OUR RESPONSABILTY…… Rob…. Lets just do it…. and as you know, LRT and subway transportation on mass in GTA as you know will drive GTA into another stratosphere. Massive infrastructure building long overdue.

  8. Hope says:

Ya, that’s right, my name is Hope. I hope and pray that Rob Ford becomes our next Mayor. Could one imagine having another socialist Mayor at the helm in tandem with HST McGuinty. The walls are starting to crumble because of high taxation and gravey train spending. A vote for anybody but Rob, is a vote for rocket launch taxation to the moon.

Good Luck Rob, we need your type of politics. ” Hope “

  9. frank falcone says:

you should check out rob ford’s new blog, its somewhat weird : http://www.robfordmayor.com

  10. Lou Schizas says:

Hi Frank – I checked it out with the Rob Ford Campaign – someone has Hijacked the brand and the lawyers are on it like a dog on a bone.

  11. Anything but John Tory says:

John, please stay out of this election. You are old school, old boy’s club that is not needed or wanted these days. Toronto ( GTA ) taxpayers can’nt finance the crazy socialist utopianism of soon to be the past. The gravy train is over, the lights are out, the old show is finished. Without change that will happen through Rob Ford, Toronto and GTA will soon be a collapsed wellfare state.

Wake up and face the truth……… the free ride credit card gravy train is over.

  12. urban daddy says:

All I know is that my property taxes have skyrocketed in the City from $4000 to almost $15000 and the City is falling apart. New taxes, user fees, grafitti, dirty streets… I welcome any mayor who will cut costs and lower taxes. I will be voting for Rob Ford!

  13. Lou, your endorsement of Mr. Ford is great news. From Ajax I too can only support Rob with a bit of cash and some good wishes. Given Toronto’s impact on the entire GTA, we should all chip in whatever and however we can. Mr. Ford is a little rough around the edges, but he offers the only way out of this mess. Torontonians need to send a clear signal to the country: no more limousine socialism. No more government motivated by hubris. We need Toronto to reset its priorities dramatically. Focus on the taxpayer. Eliminate waste and non-value-add spending. It can be done.

  14. Christina says:

Too much taxes, everything is getting expensive here not to mention
TORONTO IS FALLING APART, its getting dirty, just look around !
    ROB FORD FOR MAYOR!

  15. Chris Farley = Rob Ford says:

It was embarassing this morning listening to Lou (a good and decent guy) schilling for Rob Ford in discussion with “Rush” Oakley. My question to Lou: other than Mr Ford’s strong belief in financial accountability (a good thing!), what other traits make this fat slob, inarticulate, uneducating, wife-beating, verbally-abusing drunk a good candidate for Mayor? Smitherman says he’ll need a “budget chief” – maybe your boy “Rob” (you must have said his name a thousand times this morning) can have that job. Seriously, Lou – tell me you haven’t taken leave of your senses in wanting THIS GUY to be the face and voice of Toronto? It would be a colossal embarassment that would make Mel Lastman look like the Dalai Lama with a PhD.

  16. Rob says:

I’m a 905′er as well and if the Mayor gig doesn’t work out for you, I’d love to have you work for me in Brooklin!!! Finally, someone who isn’t a stuffed shirt. You are a breath of fresh air Rob and I believe that you have sent the right message to the people of Toronto. For those of you who side with the joker who posted just before me(Chris Farley=Rob Ford) I’d like to draw your attention to another man who didn’t fit your typical mold of Mayor. His name was RALPH KLEIN and he was the best damn Mayor and Premier that this country had seen in a very very long time. He wasn’t perfect either(drank too much and remember the famous MAd Cow comments….Shoot, Shovel and Shut Up). But the people loved him and he did an amazing job. Rob’s approach and character remind me alot of Ralph and I for one, will be telling everyone how great I think you can be. Keep working hard Rob!!!

    Rob

  17. Chris Farley = Libspew says:

    Chris @ 10:39 am

Rob Ford will be hands down the best Mayor Toronto has ever seen. You call him fat, wife beater, uneducated, loser, drunk, sub human, blah, blah blah blah blah. Typical Red Star Liberal diharia. Personally, to me his private life is his business. He is getting my vote because of what he believes in politically. Grow up Red Star Chris. We need change, and fast. Your political system = failure. David Socialist Miller proves me right. GO ROB GO

  18. Chris Farley = Gravey be gone says:

Chris Farley. You can slander Rob all you want. But if your going to rip him apart for his evils, I have some more ammo for your south of Bloor socialist views. This disgusting ( Rob ) subhuman can not stomach the Toronto City Hall gravey train. That is unheard of. How can Toronto socialists live without the gravey train ????

I’ll report this wrong doing to my union staff in the morning. Speaking of staff
All flags at half staff if Rob elected. Howard Moscow….. HELP

  19. James says:

Well anyone living outside toronto needn’t worry who is going to be mayor in toronto , you pay no taxes here so worry about your own backyard. It took many years for toronto to get in the state its in and it will take years to clean it up. The city council wil decide ultimately what goes and Ford has burned bridges with most of them so it should be interesting what happens.

  20. Allan says:

    @ James

I’m a 905er. My interest is the trend that’s happening in 416. Rob’s setting the trend for next Provincial election. Long overdew kick in the Gravey Stain teeth coming to the hub of Socialist Ontario. 416 Socialist Gravey flows like a river into my backyard thanks to your Lib friend McTaxtheGraveytoo. I’ve had it with your ilk James. In to many way’s, my Provincial and Federal TAX DOLLAR make it to your utopian Liberal 416.
    GO ROB GO

  21. cory says:

Ford just another bullshitter making promises he can’t keep, all thats going to happen is he is going to be spending his days doing battle with the city council who he has screwed over many times. Smitherman another bad choice but the lesser of two evils. its going to be one of these poor examples for a mayor , I suppose smitherman would be a better choice then that bag of wind Ford.

  22. mk says:

Lets hope Rob Ford gets in, it is our only chance to stop the limousine liberals
from destroying the city and a decent lifestyle for the average citizen.

  23. Rob says:

Thank God Rob Ford got in.

I can’t wait until all of the street car tracks on Queen and King are ripped up. Why should it only be us in the suburbs who can’t get around and are stuck in traffic. Let’s make sure those progressive, socialist, lefties feel the same pain we do since we have no way of getting around other than in our cars.

I hope that he is successful in stopping immigrants from moving to Toronto. Why should Toronto have to bear the brunt of immigrants. God only knows most of them work hard and take jobs away from others. Who needs this kind of competition.

I can’t wait until every bike lane is painted over. How dare those socialist, progressive lefties paint lines on roads making it safer for cyclists and marginally slower for cars. Roads are for cars and trucks, if you’re on a bike and get hit, too bad you should have been in a car.

I hope Rob blows up the %$^%ing gravy train. I saw the gravy train the other day and its not pleasant. It reminds me of a street car. Maybe gravy train was code for street cars. Either way good ridance.

Thank God Rob is going to get rid of sole sourced contracts. How dare a sole sourced contract be given to a small business man out in the beaches. Its only ok to give out similar sole sourced contract in Etobicoke.

Money for charity groups and the arts. Thank God all of that gravy is going the way of bike lanes and street cars. Maybe he can load all of the charities and public art in a street car or gravy train before he gets rid of it. Thus saving even more money for the tax payer. As for public art, its very subjective. Ford for Mayor signs can replace all of the public art that those lefty, progressives downtown like look at. Come to think of it they should get rid of anything that makes a street attractive so that it looks like any sidewalk in Etobicoke.

How dare those lefty, progressives enjoy the lowest property taxes in the GTA. We need to raise those taxes so they pay as much as every other municipality in the Province … Oops that was something Rob never mentioned. Didn’t have to, everyone was to busy watching the gravy train.
